Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing which is administered by the “laying on of hands” and is based on the idea that life force energy flows through us.
If this energy is low, a person will be more likely to get sick or feel stressed, and if it is high, they will be more capable of happiness and health.
Reiki creates beneficial effects like relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being.
It can be used in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to promote recovery.
The ability to use Reiki is not taught in the usual sense, but is transferred to the student through an “attunement” by a Reiki Master Teacher, which allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of life force energy.
During this course, four levels of “attunements” are given to bring the student to the Master Level of Reiki. In addition to classes, students practice Reiki during offsite practice sessions as well as completing other assigned home study work.
Levels Taught: Reiki I, Reiki II, Advanced Level, Master Level.

Requirements:
* Students must attend all three days to fulfill requirements
* Any time missed (late/tardy/hours or days missed) must be made up with the Instructor. Instructor will directly charge the student an hourly rate for make-up time (typically $35-$45/hour)
* Practice Sessions: Students are required to perform ten (10) documented home practice sessions which must be completed to obtain course certificate (5 on one person, and 5 on various other people)
* Personal Sessions: Students are required to receive two (2) one-hour sessions from an Advanced or Master Level Reiki Practitioner. Payment for these sessions will go directly to the Practitioner
* Students are required to bring a stone, crystal, pendulum, or jewelry on Day Two (the Instructor will give specific details for this assignment on Day One)
* In between Day Two and Day Three, students will be assigned a long distance Reiki exchange with a class partner
* Student must fulfill ALL requirements and be current in their payment plan to obtain Course Certificate

*These Books will be provided by GAFEE on the first day of class (they can only be purchased by someone who is already a Reiki Master)

Massage Tables: If a student already owns a massage table, they are asked to bring it the first day of class for partner exchange Reiki practice
